CSCS Health & Safety in Construction

We are hosting a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) course on 14th - 16th October at our city centre training facility. Ideal for people who work in, or want to work in, a construction  environment, this regulated and nationally recognised qualification is  supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and has  been specifically designed to provide Learners with a route to applying  for the Green Labourer CSCS Card. 

Supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the QA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed to provide Learners with a basic awareness of health and safety within a construction environment. 

During this course, Learners will develop an understanding of health and safety in the context of construction, so that they can work safely in this environment. Topics covered include: the risks of working in a construction environment, principles of risk assessments for improving health and safety at work, the importance of working safely at height and much more.
